Okay, so check this out—I've been elbow-deep in trading platforms for years. Wow! The first time I loaded an Expert Advisor on a fresh install I felt like a kid again. My instinct said: this will be easy. Initially I thought MT5 was just MT4 with a facelift, but then realized the engine, the data handling, and the strategy tester are actually different beasts entirely. Whoa! Seriously? Yes.
